It’s been a year since we’ve stepped on the field and we’re excited to announce that we have been cleared by our medical team to begin training from Monday, March 15th!
While it will be great to kick a footy, we will remain vigilant and monitor the infection numbers with the help of the medicals. We need all players to read the following and stick to our COVID Guidelines, which follow NYC, NYS, and CDC guidance.
Following the recommendation from our medical team, we will start at Tier 3 of the Guidelines. This means that we are beyond the small pod training sessions and will begin training with full numbers butno contact. In order to attend training, players must:
- Wear a mask, sanitize, and follow the disinfecting protocol listed in the Guidelines throughout the entire training session.
- Sign Up for training in advance – We’re required to keep attendance at each training, please make sure to fill this out!
- Fill out the Player Health Assessment on the day of training – this is also a requirement to maintain our permit.
Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Field 3
Day and Time: Mondays from 6-8pm
What to Bring: Layers (we’re right on the water and it can get cold), mask, water (no sharing), cleats/sneakers, a footy (if you have one). The club will provide sanitizer and wipes but feel free to bring your own.
