Bush Heritage Australia is an Australian non-profit conservation organisation, protecting more than 8 million hectares of land with high conservation value across Australia. Bush Heritage follows two approaches: they buy and manage land of outstanding conservation value, and partner with Aboriginal Australians, who have lived on the land for millennia and accumulated generations of traditional knowledge about Australia’s unique ecology.
As national leaders in landscape-scale conservation, Bush Heritage works where they are needed most: in areas of high conservation value with low levels of protection.
